In this section we will try and post as much details on any of the men who were originally buried or had there names inscribed on any graves that were originally in the St. Luke's church in Cheetham hill. The church opened in 1839 and closed in 1988. These men & women's bodies were later exhumed when the church closed and were re-interred in Southern cemetery, Manchester. If anyone knows of other service personnel who were originally buried in this church yard and would like to share it, please contact us.

Johnson - Benjamin
From the available information. I have assumed that Benjamin H. was the son of William and Mary Ann so would be Johnson rather than Wolstencroft.
The only B Wolsencroft on CWGC has a London address
There are a number of Ben, B. Or Benjamin Johnson's on CWGC, who have been discounted by service, next of kin address or death location been discounted by service, next of kin address or death location.
